Mustang PTS button Guard

After having my phone turn my mustang off mid turn i made this guard. There are other guards that cover the button with a flip up up cover that are Much better until i realized when the flip up part broke the ring left over did the same job! This is not contorted to the dash but still looks good. This allows it to be useed on other vehicles with the same size starter button who's engineers lost a bet and put the button in the worst possible place on the planet for a car that allows the engine to turn it off mid turn with a tap of the start/stop buttion............


PLA WILL MELT IN THE HOT SUMMER SUN i recommend PETG unless you garage the car but anyone who has left a pla print in there car in a hot climate will know what's up.

I used 3m body molding tape and that's what i recommend WHENEVER using any adhesive on visible trim in the vehicles interior. It is non marring, very strong and slightly flexible. Make sure the surface is cleaned with ipa and use heat on the tape.
