If you go to Hawaii, you'll come across a unique food called "Musubi". It's pressed rice with a slice of marinated spam wrapped in a ribbon of nori seaweed. You can get them from ABC stores, shops, convenience stores, and some of the McDonalds. They're delicious. Add an egg or cheese on top to make them even better. You can eat them hot or cold, but they're better if they're hot.
When you get home, you'll want to make them. You can buy the press, but why do that when you can print your own. Here's what I designed and printed, and it works great.
I printed mine from PLA with .020 mm layer height with a 0.4 mm nozzle. Set the perimeters, bottom layer, and top layer so you get a strong part to withstand the mechanical stress from pressing the rice.
You can get a package of nori seaweed from Amazon for $4.29 USD and it will make 54 Musubis.
Use sushi rice since it's sticky and will hold together when you press it.
There are a few flavors of spam and they're all good. Marinat
