Muzzle Thread Protectors by Whistler

MUZZLE THREAD PROTECTOR by Whistler5/8-24" for .30 cal1/2-28" for .22, .223, 9mm.Octagon or quad slot round. A friend needed a muzzle thread protector for his new rifle.I designed these with the 5/8-24" thread standard for .30 cal rifles and then made one of the same dimensions for 1/2-28" (.22, .223, 9mm).These are 16 mm long, accomodating for the thread length and the free section before the barrel stop.If you need a shorter, longer, wider or thinner version, just let me know and I will add it to the plate. These are made in two versions:1. Octagon shape, can be used with wrench or by hand.2. Round shape with four slots for wrench. If you need some other shape, just let me know. Knurled or textured shapes will probably not print well, but I could probably make some kind of texture like hexagon or webbed to increase friction when tightened and loosened by hand.
