On April 16, 2014, about 102 years and 1 day from the Titanic's disaster, a ferry in South Korea sank, taking 304 lives, including 250 children on a field trip, under the waves. In the progress, the captain, Lee Joon-Seok, who was the first one to abandon ship after explicitly telling everyone to "stay put". 3 years later, the wreck was raised and is still displayed today on Mokpo New Port as a memorial to the 250 dead students from Danwon High School.
This model is actually AI generated, using an app called Tripo AI. I put photos of the MV Sewol I found and they generated several models, which I processed separately in order to put together into making the ship as accurate as I could to real life. Since I couldn't find any free 3d printable models of the MV Sewol, I decided to make one. But since I still have along way to go when it comes to making detailed 3d models without remixing or modifying existing work, I resorted to AI generating the ship, which resulted in what you see he
