My mouse got stuck on hyperscroll mode. Turns out it's an issue with the little nub that rotates to change the mode. It gets jammed in one position. I eventually lost the little nub so I 3D printed one (in SLA) to fit, and optimized the design so it doesn't get jammed in one position. Has been working for a month now.
