MX5 Intake Elbow

The Alec Moody cobra pipe intake design requires a 90 degree silicone pipe with barbed off take ports however these ports were proving expensive to source in the UK. As I wanted to retain the throttlebody bypass and crankcase breather pipes I opted to design my own elbow.

This had the advantage that I could open up the angle of the elbow from 90 to 95 (better alignment with the cobra pipe).

I glued in two brass fittings, one approx 10mm diameter and the other 19mm.
