This is a convenient method to mount various sensors and a Raspberry Pi for a hydroponic system that is controlled by software such as Mycodo. I constructed models for the parts I needed but the structure of the part models is straight forward and allows additional ones to be created. Care needs to be taken to avoid mixing 2d and 3d in OpenSCAD as it will generate errors.
An I2C hub is also used as a hub for 1-wire temperature sensors allowing up to 8 DS18B20 sensors.
Because the I2C cables supplied with the sensor boards are often too long, wire holes are provided to run the slack in the cables behind the mounting plate resulting in an uncluttered appearance.
Everything is mounted using metric M2 and M3 self tapping screws. The printer used should be tested to insure that the screw holes are an appropriate size. It's been printed in PLA and PETG
