Nalgene Clip Collar

This collar secures beneath the cap-strap ridge on the 1L Nalgene bottle making it easy to clip or leash to a bag or harness. Designed to save the cap strap from wear and provide a stronger clip point. I feel this could be useful for just about any Nalgene user, whether it be for work, hiking, or water sports. (Narrow-Mouth Nalgene Clip Collar available too!) The cap-strap is relatively weak and designed only to retain the cap, eventually failing if used repeatedly to clip the weight of a full bottle. This collar can be printed in 30 minutes (uses approx 18g of filament) and secures with a single M4x12mm Bolt and Nut. With the settings included in my print profiles it is very strong, especially if printed in PETG.Installation:The Nalgene Clip Collar should be installed as seen in the photos. Ensure that it is beneath both the cap-strap and the ridge that retains the cap strap and that the cap strap is not pinched inside the collar. This can be a little tricky and requires flexing the p
