Nano Geocache

3D Printed Nano Geocache Container (40mm × 20mm) After seeing the tiny nano geocaches commonly sold online, I decided to challenge myself and design a fully 3D printable version from scratch. What initially looked simple turned out to be much more difficult than expected. Because of the model’s very small size, I had to carefully balance wall thickness, strength, and printability. If the walls were too thin, the print would fail or become fragile. If they were too thick, the model would lose the compact proportions of a real nano cache. I went through multiple prototypes and test prints to find the correct dimensions and support structure. Different support configurations were tested to make sure the model could print cleanly while still keeping fine details and maintaining durability. The final model measures approximately 40mm × 20mm and is optimized for reliable FDM printing while preserving the appearance and feel of a traditional nano geocache.
