A Napkin Ring can be formed using the following steps: Start with a sphere of any diameter d Drill a hole through the sphere such that the remainder of the sphere is of height hImage Credit: Wikipedia Interestingly, the volume of the band is dependent only on the height h and is independent of the diameter of the original sphere. In an extreme example, if you could take a sphere the size of the earth and drill a hole through it with height of 0.5 inches, it would have the same volume of the rings in this model. More information, along with proof, can be found here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Napkin_ring_problem Unfortunately, because 3D printing has inherent limitations, it is difficult to perfectly balance the rings in this model. However, looking at the original model volume confirms that each of these have identical volume (0.065 cubic inches).
