I wanted to print the Spidex Micro by Quaternium but my 3D printer isn't large enough. To work around this I traced the .STL files and created my own part files in Solidworks. In tracing these files and a reading the description I observed that the Spidex Micro was designed to be printed via CNC machine in lieu of additive manufacturing. 3D printing around complex geometry can be difficult to get right so I was delighted to observe that a design for CNC printing removed much of that complication.

Armed with CNC style concepts and a distaste for the positioning of the components on the Spidex Micro I set out to design my own version.

This build is centered around using the DJI Naza M V2 flight controller
Other flight controllers could be used with an adapter.
Let me know if you have a flight controller in mind for this build and I may create an adapter. I will definitely need the dimensions to do so and I recommend using a micrometer.
