## Neato bin latch

My Neato D5 bin kept coming loose which triggers the bot to stop cleaning. This 3D printed latch solves the issue by forcing the lid shut.The body of the robot is ABS (I think) and cyanoacrylate works incredibly well. I used only a thin line of superglue each side of the latch and it's rock solid.

## Options

Two versions are included: basic and 'with groove'. The latter has a small notch to hold the parts together, which is better but if it doesn't print well you can always use the other.

## Instructions

Practice holding it together and moving it around before gluing.

Print using a material that works well with superglue - the bond may need to hold a reasonably high force. I used ASA.

Get a small compression spring of roughly 5mm diameter.

Gluing is tricky. Hold the pieces together and turn upside down. You must apply a thin line of glue to the outermost edges. Take into consideration how much the glue will spread when the part is pressed down
