This is a storage case design I created after the original case for this set of Husky needle files broke. It's fairly simple in design, but it works well for storing files and the handle.
It is printed in 3 separate pieces, and all movable parts, such as the hinges and clasp, are connected using standard 1.75mm printer filament. Leave a bit of excess on either side of each hinge, and melt them in place. I recommend using support painting (if your slicer supports it) to make post-processing easier, by only adding supports to the clasp catch and the hemisphere part of the handle holder in the case. All other parts can be printed without the need for supports. I recommend printing all parts in either PLA or PETG.
Although the design is functional, there are a few changes I plan to make in the future. The first being changing the way the files and handle are held in place, using optional TPU inserts, and some other minor tolerancing things. For now, everything is held in place with fricti
