Nema 17 blank

So when I bought a 3d printer, I thought I definitely need dual extruder's, ill use them all the time, its definitely a requirement..

In actuality, I've used it only a few times, all it is really, is dead weight.

So in an attempt to reduce the weight on the gantry and thus reduce strain on everything, and even maybe increase speed and accuracy capabilities, I've made a blanking nema 17.

its a simple fit, pictured it is in PLA, but I've just finished my rev1, which ill print out and update the files, as well as weights, as it stands now, the original assy weighed in at 287 grams, my print, and associated hardware weighed in at 24 grams, for a incredible saving of 263 grams! In ABS, we've shaved another 3 grams off the assy, bringing the total weight saving to 266 grams!!!!

I tried making a 'lightweight' version, but it just looked messy, but ill keep on it!
***Have decided to scrap the whole 'lightweight' version, its not worth it for 5-6 grams, i saw a max of 8 gram savin
