Build your own in-wall PoE switch for less than $10USD !!You do NOT need auxillary power. The uplink port needs to be PoE (802.3af) and then it will power up the board and pass on PoE to the other 3 ports. This is great for VoIP phones, IP cameras, or other devices. Being in wallplate format, you can cleanly hide this switch.I thought it was an original idea, but it turns out that HP, 3Com and Ubiquiti make similar devices (albeit MUCH bulkier, not flush mount, and they cost over $100 new).Check your building codes. In the United States, most individual states do NOT require the low-voltage (less than 90v) devices to use UL listed wall plates. But do your own due-diligence.I test fitted to several “old work” boxes for in-wall use as well as surface mount single-gang boxes (like for PVC raceway). Here is a link to the circuit board used ($5 USD): https://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_DEzohBn***Let me know if you are using a surface box or work box that doesn't fit, and I can see about adj
