I kept hearing how I should dry every roll before using, just in case the filament was too wet. I was trying to find out how to test new rolls of filament to determine if certain rolls had to be dried or not. This tester is easy to use. Insert a hydrometer in the middle. Just press the tester into the center hole of a new roll of filament. Let set for at least 15 minutes and see what the actual RH is of the new roll. Now you know if you do actually have to dry before using. The model has a safety cap for storing. The seals are made from TPU. If you don't want to print the TPU you could just use weather stripping found at a hardware store.
