Nickel strips are mainly used to join batteries together especially 18650 types. But a bare nickel strips lying around close to any electrical source are very dangerous as well as having its edge sharp as well.
Use this to store your nickel strip properly for safety. To use it, simply run one end out of one of the desired slots on the side, and that nickel strip's end go back into other slot for safe keeping. leaving some nickel strip outside of the spool waiting for you to take it and cut it the next time.
The nickel strip inside should able to freely move and you also able to see the amount of the strips
