Nikon Z Mount Body Cap
What is the first thing you loose when you get a new camera with detachable lenses? Yes, its the body cap. I just got my newest Z5 and lost it in less than a week! Immediately I set out to find a good 3D model, and couldn't find any but the one I remixed to make this one. It's great, but I found it hard to use after I put my silicone case over the body. This makes a larger cap that is thicker and has a knurled texture for easy gripping.
There's a blank cover for you to add your own graphic, or if you can't be bothered, there's an alternate model with the classic 1950s Nikon logo. Print either or both! You can't ever have too many of these lying around!
I found success using black PLA at on DYNAMIC quality @ .16mm, no suport with the outer facing surface against glass. Also, in order to get the best detail on the text, I print the first layer at 5 or 6 mm/s with the rest of the model at 50 mm/s.
