This model was created to solve a problem I encountered with the new Ninja toaster. If you own one, you’ll know how tall the panini press component is. To keep it neatly stored and out of the way, I designed a simple tray holder that can be placed under your kitchen countertop or even hung on a door, as shown in my photos. I printed the model on my Bambu Lab X1E 3D printer using PolyTerra™ PLA+ filament.Due to the size of the model, I printed it in two parts to fit the print bed. To join the two halves, I included 3mm dowel pins in the design. During assembly, I also used glue to ensure a stronger and more permanent hold.I have also included a 3mm mounting screw on the top of the part to secure it to the cupboard.
