For those who want to use a third party stand and do not want to put their Nintendo Switch in the dock, I have designed a housing that uses only the board of the original dock. All you need is a USB Type C extension cable (this must be USB 3.1 HDMI / data compatible). Since the USB type C connection for the switch is very smooth, I stuck it with a little hot glue firmly.

My next project is to install an adapter (from USB Type C Female to USB Type A Male), So I can use a USB cable with a magnetic connection.
