Summary:This mount allows for the secure installation of a ceiling lamp without drilling into the ceiling. It's perfect for anyone with a radiant cooling ceiling, suspended ceilings, or anywhere drilling is not possible or desired. The design clamps securely onto the existing ceiling outlet box.Description:The Problem: I have a radiant cooling system in my ceiling, which means I am not allowed to drill any holes into it. This made the standard installation of my new ceiling lamp impossible. To solve this without giving up on proper lighting, I designed this 4-part mounting system.The Solution: The mount utilizes the stability of the ceiling's electrical outlet box (junction box) and consists of the parts shown in the picture:Crossbar: This is the central support beam.
