I was sick of when grabbing and pulling a tissue the box comes off the desk and is annoying so I had been wanting a slip over case for the tissues for some time. However I never got around to making one out of Aluminium checker plate as planned.
So I decided to print on instead.
I have made this to suit the tissues that I buy here in Australia called "No Issues" tissues.
It gives the box a bit of extra weight to stop them coming off the desk when you are trying to reach for one easily.
I currently have a 0.5mm nozzle on my printer so I set the walls to suit this, however I will add extra designs shortly optimised for a 0.4mm nozzle too.
I played with the top and bottom thickness within the slicer and with the coloured translucent filament I used to print with, the infill on the top of the box looks amazing.
I used:
HobbyKing translucent PLA (Green)
0.5mm nozzle
0.5mm wall thickness (1 Shell) (The walls of the object are 1.0mm)
0.3mm first layer height, solid fill.
0.35mm
