I’ve just made a new version of my nozzle cam for the M5C, and I’m really happy with the improvements. It’s way easier to mount now, and it looks a lot better too. I also got rid of the two slots for extra LED lighting since the endoscope’s built-in light usually does the job just fine. Overall, it’s a simpler and cleaner design that still works great!

For installation, you’ll need to unscrew the whole extruder head, unfortunately. There are 4 screws on the back side, and once they’re undone, the head comes loose. Then you can snap the part onto the back of the extruder head. Just make sure to align the notches in the part with the notches in the head. Once that’s done, screw the extruder head back on, and you’re all set!

One important note: make sure to print the part in PETG, not PLA. I tried PLA at first, but it snapped when I tried to snap it into place since it’s more brittle. PETG also has a higher melting point, which is important since the part is really close to the hote
