Nvidia Shield 2017 Fan + Case Replacement

Loud rattling or broken fan ? Replacement costing over 40 euros/dollars not including import fees and shipping ? This complete replacement case uses a widely available Noctua NF-A6x15 5V PWM fan that can be soldered into the wiring of the original fan or connected via a USB port using the included adapter. Note that the fan will spin at max speed when connected via USB, but this is still more than ok.The compact design sandwiches together and allows for colour customisation as well as using the device in multiple orientations. As per Noctua reputation, the fan is whisper quiet with temps hovering around 34C during 4K HDR decode. This can be checked via adb wireless debugging > `adb shell dumpsys thermalservice` command.
