This model is a hollow geodesic sphere (V6) designed to mimic the Times Square New Year's Eve ball in New York City. The shell is fully enclosed with clean geometry, and the top features two small holes that allow you to thread fishing line, string, or wire so the ornament can be hung securely. The bottom includes a circular cutout for accessing the interior. I placed a battery-powered LED inside for lighting. The cutout piece is printed in place and is sized to not fall in, and can be stuck on using a sealant so you can close the bottom opening after adding whatever insert you prefer. The model is intentionally designed as a lightweight, hollow print to keep it practical for hanging and to allow light to pass through the shell if users decide to illuminate it and use a supported filament. I may have been slightly over-generous with supports in the provided 3MF file—feel free to tune your support settings to match your printer, filament, or preference. The geometry offers some flex
