Update: Created an alternative spacer, ‘lift’, and cover to put the bucker pickup as close to the strings as possible. It requires an additional two M3 screws and two M3 washers. It's still compatible with the same ‘bucker holder’.
I switched to using a super-slim guitar bucker pickup and found a way to mount the Sonuus G2M and phone onto the cello itself for one self-contained package. I also made a part to "drop" the leg supports down so that the bow can actually be used further down the instrument.

The bucker works well with pizzicato but strangely struggles to notice anything with the bow. Frustratingly, the G2M is still not particularly helpful, even if the bucker makes it far more accurate than the microphone did. The bucker is very sensitive to the distance from the strings, which is a challenge for a cello since the strings follow a curved pattern. [I might come back and tweak the
