OBDII Break Out box

Ford Superduty 7.3L break out box for OBDII port. Use a OBDII extension cable to make your life easier. Will probably work on other vehicles with some additional wiring.

The OEM connector on my truck was orientated in such a way that the indictor lights on every dongle i tried faced away from me.

There are no easily acessbie test points to do the point-to-point tests.

So.... make your own break out box. Get an OBD extension cable and splice it into banna jack connectors. You will have to trace each wire out with a DMM or test light to get them to the right port. But if oyu need this, then you probably have the skills already.

Paint fill the letters to makeit easier to read.

Holes sized for tapping M3 screws, or countersink and use sheet metal screws to suit. Gommet holes sized for big box store Gardner Bender grommets.
