This is a box to mount a Raspberry Pi 3 (https://www.raspberrypi.org/) and a Picamera (https://www.raspberrypi.org/products/camera-module-v2/) to the frame of an helloBEEprusa (https://beeverycreative.com/hellobeeprusa-3d-printer/) from Beeverycreative to form an Octopi (https://octopi.octoprint.org/), the Raspberry Pi version of the famous print server OctoPrint (http://octoprint.org/).
I added four LEDs to light the scene and a downstep DC/DC converter to power the board.
I used four white high efficiency LEDs and three 1/4W 270 Ohm resistors to connect to the 24V helloBEEprusa power supply.
I found a very small DC/DC step-down converter to reduce the 24V power supply to the 5v needed by the Raspberry Pi. I used an LM2596 4.5V-28V a 0.8V-20V STEP DOWN BUCK CONVERTER DC DC 3 A marked D-Sun, like this one from e-bay: http://www.ebay.it/itm/Super-Mini-3A-DC-DC-Converter-Step-Down-Adjustable-Power-Supply-buck-Module-/122155531744?hash=item1c71097de0:g:7tcAAOSws5pZJiw1 that is very che
