This is a quick temporary fix for the original Oculus Quest 2 / Meta Quest 2 head strap plastic parts, sometimes they break and this is a temporary fix to keep you going until you get new strap.
This requires a 3D pen, It's heavily reliant on a 3D pen. The part that's printable works for the independent strap brace if you have lost the part (it's the one not stuck to the fabric) but even though you 3D print it, you will still need a 3D pen to clamp the parts.
For the other one, you use just the 3D pen. Squeeze the two broken parts together and start extruding plastic over each end, then join the middle up.
Top Tip:
Once you have extruded the plastic, lick your fingers and smooth out the PLA by dabbing and squeezing, this creates a better bond between layers.
I didn't think it was worth the time or effort making a fully printable solution, since it's so quick and easy to make this work using a 3D pen. The whole job takes 5 minutes and if you don't mind the rough appearan
