The Ody Hand is a useful and comfortable low-resistance prosthetic hand with a unique look. It is intended to be a starter hand for children with no fingers, having carpals and at least some metacarpals with the ability to flex and extend the wrist. It uses bowden nylon monofilament cabling and no elastics, and has only three digits, so resistance is very low, offering its user excellent grip strength for a wrist-powered device. Short, blunt fingers reduce the chance of putting one's eye out. ;) This hand was first designed for our friend Odysseus, who lives in Greece.
