The crash bars in my office require a certain size hex key to secure them in the "unlocked" position.
This locks the bar in place, so we don't need the hex key anymore.
V1 tended to bend a bit in the sun. It still held onto the bar, but wasn't aesthetically pleasing. It lasted about 2 weeks before the bending was pretty noticable.
V2 works much better. The forces on it don't force a bend. It's been in use for over two months with no warpage.
Update: September 2020 - These have been in continuous operation for three years, and are still working as good as new.
