OG-Vase UnchartedX

The famous OG-Vase from the youtube channel UnchartedX. I downloaded the model from Ben's website www.unchartedx.com, scaled it up, aligned it a bit and hollowed it out to have a better understanding of this nice piece of ancient artifact.I printed my vase in dark grey sparkle from filatex3d. For more infos check out his awesome video: And just to get an idea how precise the vase is, the guys from Artifact Foundation scanned it and uploaded following heat map: source: https://www.artifactfoundation.org/og-vase full credit goes to Adam Young and his team for their awesome work of shining a different light on archaelogy, working not against but besides the mainstream. And just a reminder: the measuring device should be at least 3 - 10 times more precise than the tolerance you want to achieve on the part…Or in other words: we needed laser scanning to even see what we're dealing with here :-)
