Update:
Printed and assembled. Smoothed it off with an acetone treatment, then let it dry. Placed it into the oven at 60C to check if it could handle a hot engine bay. NOPE, bubbled up and deformed badly.
Lesson learnt, will either have to print this in something really high temp rated, or have it machined out of metal and threads/seals added to parts for attachment.
My car has a little problem with oil/moisture on it's positive crankcase ventilation circuit, so I've created my own catch can.
I chose not to buy a catch can, because they are overpriced, and sometimes very poorly designed. Some horrible ones are just two hose barbs into a chamber.
For best results, print all parts separately, expose them to acetone vapour treatment to smooth off layer marks & add strength, then glue together as per the .blend file. Use acetone/abs goo glue for strong joins, and install to your car only after it's FULLY DRIED.
TOP PIPIE: outlet to intake manifold low pressure side (b
