I designed a basic hook for the wall to get my oil pan up off the floor as I was sick of it getting in the way. I have tested it with some oil in it and it held good, however, I would recommend you empty oil from your pan before hanging it for good measure. No one wants a mess in the garage. I have included both a French Cleat version and a regular version that can be bolted onto the wall. I suggest using suitable plugs if not going into studs or concrete direct.
