Old House

This is a model of a former Navitas lodge, a beautiful old house located at Kristrupvej 23 in Randers, Denmark. I took a few photos of the house and built it in 3D (SolidWorks) based solely on those two photos, so the proportions are probably not entirely accurate. Since I didn’t have any pictures of the back of the house, I chose to leave that part out. The fairly detailed half‑house is printed in 1:150 scale in six colors. I used PLA support material in the support/raft interfaces.”The model is not suitable for scaling down, as many of the details simply become too small to print. Therefore, the smaller versions of the house shown are based on a 3D model in which I enlarged some of the details.
