The Lifemax 1233 talking clock is supposed to be suitable for visually-impaired people. Unfortunately, the design makes it anything but. The central button that you press to get it to tell the time is surrounded by five larger buttons to set the alarm, silence the alarm, set the time etc. So a partially-sighted person who doesn't have an extremely good sense of touch has very little chance of pressing the correct button, and every chance of making the clock do something else. I designed this cover to fit over the top of the clock and provide a single large button to get the clock to tell the time. The other buttons can be pressed by pushing a straightened-out paper clip through the holes provided, to allow someone else to adjust the time etc.
