This is a tool to quickly size a snappable pin header to a desired length (2 to 13 pins). It is for standard 0.100" (2.54mm) pitch pin headers.I've been using arturo182's pin header break away tool for many years – this is clearly inspired by his original design (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4879426)I created my own design that works for all lengths between 2 and 13 pins. I also wanted it to easily fit into the pocket of a 2x-wide Gridfinity tool holder that I use.For best results, print on a raft if your printer tends to knock over tall prints. No supports needed. In the photo, I sanded down the numbers to make them stand out a little better.Just insert the header fully into the pocket and then snap the excess section of header. For 2 to 5 pins, you can snap the header in either direction. For 6 to 13 pins, snap toward the odd or even side.
