After I bought the new OnePlus 13 phone, I found my Backbone controller became useless. OnePlus 13 has a camera module that protrudes significantly from the back. As a result, the USB-C plug on the game controller cannot be reliably inserted into the phone's USB-C port, preventing the controller from connecting to the phone.
I considered several adaptation solutions and ultimately chose to connect the phone and the controller using a USB cable, then use a mount to hold the phone on the controller. After some experimentation, I finalized the current solution: a U-shaped clip is attached to the center support structure of the controller (after it's extended) to limit side-to-side movement, and a drawer-shaped cover is inserted into one leg of the U-shaped clip to restrict vertical movement. Finally, a 55mm diameter disk with a MagSafe magnetic ring is used to secure the phone in place. This solution is not the most compact, but it's the easiest to model, simple to install, and its bulky
