Open Gimbal Prototype

This is a concept demonstration for an open gimbal carrying a consumer camera with 30x zoom. This concept uses an AlexMos Extended BGC and GM3506 gimbal motors with encoders. The frame shown is adjustable, allowing for larger cameras. However, the motor selection limits the payload to 500g maximum according to the manufacturer. This design was created to be CNC machined.
