The Open Rocker Switch is a DIY assistive switch. The device has two separate switches that are activated by pressing on either side. The activation surface on each side is about 58 mm in diameter. Using the 12 mm tactile switches specified below, the activation force is about 1.3N (130 gf). This switch has a similar size and activation force as the now discontinued AbleNet Rocker Switch.
This switch uses two 3.5 mm mono cables to carry the switch signals. An adapter can be used to connect the two 3.5 mm mono jacks to a 3.5 mm stereo jack.
