WHAT THE TESTBED BRANCH IS:

This is a place where I upload experimental variants of the Open WarHex system that I'm either testing, considering, or putting up for feedback. THESE FILES MAY CHANGE AT ANY TIME AND THE OLD VERSIONS ARE *PROBABLY* GONE FOR GOOD WHEN THEY DO. This is more of a workbench than a specific thing.

Currently:
This is the core Open WarHex parts set, tweaked with a new contour for the central hex area and the modular ring; we're trying this as an experiment to see if people like the visual design of the less aggressive angles around the central hex.

It also has adjusted gutter widths to (hopefully) help stack more securely.

In addition, these changes are designed to give us more room to sculpt on the geometry for expansion parts such as roads, rubble, and other detailed terrain.

Please give it a try and upload feedback; if these changes are a keeper (or even mostly work), we'll either do further testing, roll them into the main OWH branch, or p

Which 3D printer is suitable for Open WarHex - Testbed ?
Any FDM printer should handle Open WarHex - Testbed just fine. It's been printed on machines like Bambu Lab A1 Mini, Prusa Mini+, Creality Ender 3, most FDM printers. A minimum build volume of 50 mm is recommended.
Does Open WarHex - Testbed need supports when printing?
Yes, Open WarHex - Testbed will probably need supports for the overhangs. Tree supports work well here and are easier to remove than regular ones.
What file format is Open WarHex - Testbed available in?
