This is 2 versions of the Alt Track component of the AutoPA addon for the OpenAstroTracker.
In my opinion, there is a potential problem with the AutoPA base not allowing sufficient range of motion. Specifically, the track only really allows for 'nose down' adjustment of the Alt axis. I have modified the Track to have a 5deg or 2.5deg backwards rake. This should allow the Alt axis to be adjusted to both nose up and nose down positions.
PLEASE NOTE that this is just my opinion and solution to a perceived problem. It may be that I have seen a problem where there is actually none, the solution may be inadequate and may well introduce more problems than it attempts to solve! One obvious disadvantage is that it raises the main Tracker assembly a long way of the base which will inevitably result in instability and will amplify any vibrations.
I have also included a 70mm long version of the M14 bolt to compliment the angled Alt Track and a simple clip to fix the AutoPA to a solid bas
