Still a early concept. (And I welcome ideas and improvements)
Goal: a cheap DIY 3D lidar (without slip rings) and wireless data transfer between the rotating axis. Wireless power coils between the rotating axis to eliminate the use of cords.
Using ESP-NOW protocal to transfer data between two Nodemcu´s.
Also tested IR data transfer with IrDA2 boards (But got interference from the wireless power coils.)
WIFI access for wirelessly access lidar data. Goal is to have a battery back and a magnet as a add on. So one can use it with power supply and cables and still access lidar data for quick mapping.
Two diffrent concepts are availablefor download.
Version 1:
Motors: 3530-400kv DJI inspire
Sensor: Lidar lite V3
Encoder: AS5048A
Nodemcu
Wireless coils
Version 2 (bigger in size for dev testing)
Motors: Pm 2805 gimbal motor
Sensor: Lidar lite V3
Encoder: AS5048A
Nodemcu
