OpenRCR (Open Source Radio Controlled Racing) is a STEM competition where competitors design, build and race 1/12th scale Radio Controlled cars.
The project is aimed at worldwide schools and colleges but is open to anyone. All of the OpenRCR CAD and .STL files are downloadable for free and futurefab.org.uk contains how-to’s and tutorials help people of any skill level to get involved.

The project aims to increase the uptake of Open Source Hardware and Software and promote engineering, manufacturing and design skills in young people.
There are a number of different entry points and a range of prize categories which means that people of all levels of skill and expertise have the chance to compete and win.
