OPTERRA 2M - MOTOR SUPPORT

Motor Support for OPTERRA 2M.

This is a custom made motor support for Turnigy SK3 Gliderdrive Competition Series 1120Kv.

As an important note please take into account that in order to install this mount, after you remove the stock motor support you have to cut a round slot in order to install this motor mount.

Not sure how to cut the slot … try this: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3928670 be patient and go slow !

Please do not print it in PLA for obvious reasons ;), I did so only for checking the dimensions and do the necessary corrections to the prototype. The final version must be printed in PET or PET-G.

Once the slot is cut, glue the mount in position with epoxy.

The motor lid is to be fixed in position with 6 screws M3x20.

UPDATE: If you are brave enough to mod-cut the tail of the bird you can consider the enhanced version of this mount designed for better adhesion on the wing's body. Infill - 2% - 5%
