This hold down bracket secures Optima D35 size batteries into BMW E36 Chassis. The bracket slips over the top of the battery and securely interfaces with the bottom flange of the battery, tabs into the factory battery cleats, and is secured with a single m6 1.0 bolt. The design is built around my 1997 M3 Sedan and includes notching and floor height adjustments to sit flat on the panel joints and small floor features of the battery mounting area. I also sliced this with additional internal ribbing using a modifier mesh set to infill 100% > Concentric. I’m using Nexpa-gf25 for my final part and would suggest using glass fibers over carbon to avoid having anything electrically conductive that needs to be slipped into place around the battery terminals.Sliced with 5 wall loops and 5 top and bottom shells.
