Optimized construction metal base

An optimized construction metal base which is both, stronger and lighter than the usual designs with a square base. The laser cut steel plates in this sample model weight 5,47 kg on my custom design, whereas the basic design weights 8,56 kg, resulting in a mass difference of 56,5%. 7 mm chamfers are added along the gaps to simulate what the welds would look like in the real life.
