If you are a fan of Oreo cookies, you will love this one. This model is a huge version of the classic oreo cookie, but with a literal and figurative twist: you can decide how many layers of stuffing you want to have, from one to 11!? The oreos are functional as a container, and twist open to reveal an inner compartment. You can also, of course, make multi-colored oreos, like the green-filled mint or yellow cookie “blond” oreos! This model looks surprisingly realistic, and can work great even on printers without multi-color printing. The model comes with files for stuffing levels 1 through 11, as well as top and bottom parts. The cookie has a detailed pattern on both sides, just like the real thing. Provided as an high resolution 3MF files, as well as in a pre-setup 3MF file for Bambu/OrcaSlicer users.? I prefer OrcaSlicer as it gives you the best level of control and makes fine tuning easy. Shown here in Prusament Galaxy Black (cookies) and Sunlu PLA+ (filling) Printing Instructions: Parts Referring to this colored picture (double-stuffed shown): You will need 1x of each of these to make a complete Oreo: Assembly Instructions A small amount of glue is required to complete the model. First, click the filling (yellow part above) into the top cookie (pink part above).? I've designed in tolerances so that you will have to whack it a little (and it will stay in place), but it should seat without extreme force.? If you wish, you can add in super-glue afterwards to make sure it never moves/doesn't have play. Second, glue the blue screw insert into the bottom cookie, as shown in the two blue parts above.? There are tolerances built in here for typical 3D FDM prints.? The fit should be snug but easy enough to insert, assuming your printer is not wildly out of tune. That's it.? Once the glue is set, you should be able to just screw the parts together !
