Ornithopter

The challenge for this project was to design and manufacture a machine that could fly using an elastic band as a source of energy. fire blanket material was used as material for the wings and the font body had to be machined to reduce weight. This design managed to fly to 8 metres but with further weight reduction it could do a lot better. I would recommend this project to anybody who is looking to learn a lot about 3d printing manufacture.
