for the instruments (thing: 2511807) I have now created a background lighting. the inside of the housing I have white, so the reflection of the led becomes larger, furthermore I have arranged the LED so that it comes to an indirect illumination, because otherwise only the tacho is illuminated. the LED is a red 3mm LED with a 100 Ohm series resistor. The LED is glued in the housing and then the housing is also glued to the instrument expression behind the cockpit. the result can be seen in the pictures. to simulate the assembly, whether this housing fits also, I have the corresponding STL files combined with Simplify3D. after that there should be no problems in assembly.
